Defeat

Just like years gone past, my dad and I sat in front of the TV on Sunday hoping the Team Vodafone Ford could make it 4 straight wins at Bathurst. Bathurst, if you don't know, is the most important race of the V8 Supercar season- it's their version of the AFL Grand Final.

My dad and I are both Ford fans so we were hoping that even if Team Vodafone didn't come first, another Ford team will. Alas, it was not to be, with the Holden Racing Team taking the top step on the podium this year, leading a Holden dominance of this years race with only one Ford (the Team Vodafone guys who, incidentally, will be switching to Holden next season ) finishing in the top ten. Oh well, there's always next year...
