Went down to Guitar Paradise last weekend just for a casual browse and ended up walking out 45 minutes later with a new walnut 72 Telecaster.Also picked up a Fender Blues Junior III amp, as well as a...MXR GT-OD pedal.

Stuff In The Mail

Seeing as I always impulse buy things I've refrained from setting up myself an eBay account. There are times, however, where there is something on eBay I want so Mary goes and orders it from me (thanks). Anyway, she sent me this awesome MMS to let me know my package had arrived. So cool! One of the best MMS' I've received in a while. I got these- Cali license plates. I've always wanted Japanese ones but they're quite hard to find and pretty pricey so I decided just to get some American ones to bolt onto my future Skyline/Silvia/Honda (yeah yeah, I know, I bag Honda's but still, you never know...).I also received some stickers in the mail the other day. Neat.

Tees

Came home to see this on the door step. Seeing as I only ordered it on Monday I was pleasantly surprised at how quick it arrived. I love buying tees. Next, new shoes!

Canieat

Got these wicked 'Canieat' stickers in the mail from Ron today. If you don't get it, it's just a joke on the Canibeat logo. Ron makes sweet custom stickers so go to his site and buy some!

Crashing Cars and Karma

I really shouldn't be laughing, but I can't help it. I laughed when Phil crashed his car. I was there. I tried so hard not to laugh due to the look despair all over his face but I couldn't help it; it was funny. He later saw the funny side in it and had a laugh himself.

I also laughed at the start of the week, when Mary had a little accident. Again, it was funny and I couldn't help it. Looking back at it though, I shouldn't have laughed. Karma will get me back. Eek!

Mary laughed when she found out that Phil crashed. She laughed even more when she saw that photo. Go forward half a year though and I'm guessing she wasn't laughing. Ain't karma a bitch?

How about me though? I laughed at both of them... Better start doing a load of good things!

You Play Guitar?

It's funny. Every time I mention to someone I play the guitar they give me such a WTF look, followed by "You play guitar?" Well yes, yes I do. I've actually been playing classical guitar since I was in grade one as well as acoustic guitar for around 3 years but in all that time I've never considered getting an electric.

That all changed a couple of months ago when I began thinking of starting to learn and one thing lead to another, leading me to my new purchase, a Fender Fat Strat. I originally wanted a black/white combo but there were none left in stock, with the supplier only bringing some in after the new year. I went to see what other colour combos were in stock and found this wicked metallic black/glitter grey combo and had to have it.

I picked it up, along with an amp I also purchased, two nights ago and have been enjoying it heaps. Anyway, I'm off to learn how to play Red Hot Chili Peppers- Snow.

Chadstone, Again...

So headed over to Chadstone for VIP night last night with Em, Phil, Andy and Carmen. Arrived at around 8ish and shopped and stuff. I picked up a hoody from Mooks which was 20% off, sweet. Went home at around 10, thanks for the lift Andy.

Flashers, Dancing and Tees

Went out to Chadstone yesterday after school with Andy, Phil, Mason, Teresa and Carmen and watched Observe and Report. It felt quite similar to Mall Cop and was quite average; definately prefer Mall Cop. The best part in the film would have to be when Seth Rogan shot the flasher, was so unexpected and funny.

After that we went to Intencity and wasted a lot of gold coins playing Maximum Tune and DDR. "Yesterday was the day I relived those DDR days" (you better write this too Carmen!). None of us had played DDR for like 2 years and it was funny seeing how crap we were now (except for Andy, he's still so good!). We used to be so pro...

We also went shopping and I picked up this tee.

Illest

Got my Fatlace tee this week, pretty happy with it and postage was quick. Don't know why I'm buying tees when it's winter but!

Message on the tag was a sweet touch.
