Saw this add for it on the bus home today, quite interesting to see how it will be seeing as it features real people. I haven't got my hopes up though...

Surprise Find

Found this old framed print of Craig Lowndes the other day while looking for some other stuff. I had completely forgotten I had this and it had just been sitting gathering dust for at least 3 years. The print shows Lowndes jumping off the curbs in his 00 Motorsport "Green Eyed Monster" Ford at Adelaide in 2002 (I think). I clearly remember watching the car race back when I was younger with it being one of my favourite looking race cars with it's green headlight covers making it one of the most aggressive looking cars at the time. Now, to find somewhere to hang this.

Spotted this XA Falcon on the weekend while I was at P4P. Looks very tough and great choice of colour.


Mickey Thompson semi's suggest something big under the bonnet, as does the monster Autometer Rev Gauge and B&M (I think) auto shifter inside.

Parachute 4 Poverty

Today I went along to Lillydale Airport to see some friends jump out of a plane and freefall for 60seconds for Parachute 4 Poverty which was being run by my church. What P4P basically is is people who want to jump sign up and raise money which is then sent to countries in Asian to help build fresh water systems, homes etc. Was a very hot day but perfect, if a little windy, conditions for the day.

My Trip to the Zoo

On Monday I went to the zoo for psychology to research animal behavior. I haven't been to the zoo since I was in prep so it was exciting being able to visit again as I had forgotten how it was last time. Here are some pics, unfortunately my phone died not even half way through so I couldn't get pics of some of the animals I wanted to. Ah well.

Moomba

Went to the city yesterday for Moomba with Emily, Kez and Jenny. Didn't stay for long, we just walked around and saw a parade and went on a few rides.

Kez and Jenny are up there somewhere, screaming...

Later went to Melbourne Central and decided to watch a movie. We originally wanted to see 'The Unborn' but that was full at the time we wanted so we went and watched 'The Secret Life of Bees', having absolutely no idea what the movie was about. It moved very slowly but was an alright film.

Addiction

Right now there are 32 of these SPC peach in pineapple jelly's sitting in my fridge. Why do I have so many? Well my mum's friend went to the SPC factory and got us 2 boxes. I absolutely love these and have been eating at least 2 a day for the past week. I'll probably be real sick of them by the time I'm down to the last couple but for now, it's love!

Fruit-tastic

"Don't eat Fruit Loops, they have too much sugar and will rot you teeth." My mum didn't like me eating Fruit Loops as a kid and as a result I had only had them around 3 times before today. Anyway, I was in class last week when I suddenly felt to urge to eat Fruit Loops and, to my surprise, when I told Mary she wanted to eat them too and so we decided to go get some today. We really should have planned this through though. After buying a box of 'em and some milk from Coles, we set off only to remember that we would need bowls and spoons and when we went to buy them we found they both only came in a minimum of 20 a pack. What Mary is going to do with all the extra spoons and bowls I do not know, although I did suggest to her to use the bowls as hats...

I don't know if it's just me but they don't taste as sweet as they used to which is a bad thing. Oh well, it was good to finally scratch the itch and have a bowl of them after so many years.
